Are sunken trampolines safe? This is a tricky one and normally would depend on the trampoline you are buying. After a lot of research most websites would agree that a sunken trampoline is the safest way to use it and looks the best too, however, our Springfree experts wouldn’t agree!

Springfree trampolines really prove this statement wrong! Springfree redesigned the traditional trampoline to remove all hard surfaces and gaps from our trampolines to reduce the chance of injury. Our high quality netting is designed not to ladder if the netting is ripped, keeping wayward

bouncers safe. Also, being erected on ground level means that should any falls happen when exiting there is more time for jumpers to catch themselves.

Whilst we wouldn't usually reccommend it, we understand that a few of our customers may be looking in to sinking a Springfree. Here's a few things we wanted to let you know before you do!

When sinking a Springfree trampoline, you can only put it in to the group up to the top of the legs. This is because the net rods need to be able to flex and move with freely without coming in contact with any solid surfaces.

Another thing to consider with in-ground trampolines, is the ground preparation for the

trampoline. Installing your Springfree above ground is simple - assemble & bounce! But with in-ground trampolines, the hole will have to be the perfect size for the trampoline, there may be additional expenses for labour and you'll have to make sure there's sufficent drainage to avoid the hole filling up with water.

In our opinion we think Springfree Trampolines look great, however if you want to camouflage it in to your garden, the black mat rods are a great way to do so! Having your Springfree above ground is definitely the safest & easiest way to enjoy bouncing!
