Anchoring your trampoline is important for safety, especially if you live in a windy area.
Whilst you don't have to anchor your Springfree, they will definitely help protect your trampoline in windy or stormy conditions. We'd always reccomend using Springfree Ground Anchors on your Springfree Trampoline.
Here are some common methods of anchoring traditional trampolines:
1. Ground Anchors:
U-shaped Anchors: These are driven into the ground and connected to the trampoline frame using heavy-duty straps.
Screw-in Anchors: These are screwed into the ground and provide a more secure hold.
2. Sandbags:
Fill heavy-duty bags with sand or gravel and place them around the base of the trampoline.
3. Weight Plates:
Use weight plates designed for gym equipment and attach them to the trampoline frame using straps.
Important Considerations:
Ground Conditions: Consider the type of ground you have (soil, concrete, etc.) to choose the appropriate anchoring method.
Wind Exposure: If you live in a windy area, ensure the anchors are securely fastened to withstand strong winds.
Professional Installation: For optimal safety and longevity, consider professional installation.
By following these guidelines, you can ensure that your trampoline is securely anchored and ready for safe and enjoyable use.
