Why Are Trampoline Warranties So Important?
Now that you have seen the List, let’s back up and discuss what a trampoline warranty is and why it’s important.
A trampoline warranty is a pledge by the manufacturer that they will repair or replace faulty parts for a specific period after purchase. Think of it like the warranty on your car.
Warranties are important for a few reasons:
They authenticate the quality of the product. Warranty = a manufacturer’s confidence in their product.
They protect you financially from defects or failure in the manufacturing process.
They provide a strong signal of a brand’s reputation for providing high-caliber products and services.
If you’re looking for a long-lasting trampoline, warranties are VERY important.
Trampoline warranty lengths typically hint at how long the product will last before needing replacement parts.
Replacement part costs can add up quickly, potentially up to £1,000 or more.
Replacing trampoline parts can also be tedious and time-consuming.
For some, it could require professional assistance, adding to the total cost of repairs.
If you buy a high-quality trampoline, it should come with at least a 5–10-year warranty on major components.
See the graphic below for features of a Springfree Trampoline, which comes with a 10-year warranty on all parts – the only company to offer this:

How Trampoline Warranties Work
Trampoline warranties work by manufacturers, or trampoline brands, outlining the length and coverage details of their trampoline.
For trampolines with warranties, the parts covered usually include the frame, mat, springs (or rods on springless trampolines), enclosure net, padding and poles.
As you saw on our Best Trampoline Warranty List, the length and coverage details differ dramatically depending on the trampoline manufacturer.
And some manufacturers will overstate the quality of their warranties.
That might say “10-year” or “lifetime” warranty on their website, but it will only be for a certain part of the trampoline (like the frame).
Tip: Always read the fine print before buying. Look for the coverage duration on each part of the trampoline. You should be able to find it on the manufacturer’s website.
Most trampoline warranties only cover manufacturer defects in materials or workmanship.
They usually DO NOT include things like general wear and tear, damage by improper use or inclement weather and poor installation. Some exceptions may apply.
Brands may require or encourage you to register your warranty after purchase.
This may include providing your name and address, a purchase receipt and the trampoline model/serial number.
How to File a Trampoline Warranty Claim
So, what happens if you buy a trampoline, and it comes with a faulty part?
This is where you will want to start a warranty claim process.
In a warranty claim, you will detail the issue with your trampoline, possibly providing pictures of the damage.
It will look different depending on the brand, but an example of the Springfree Trampoline warranty claim process (courtesy of our website) is below:
Step 1: Submit Warranty Claim (this involves filling out a form)
Step 2: Provide Additional Documentation (if required)
Step 3: Warranty Claim Reviewed by Springfree Team
Step 4: Final Claim Results to Customer

Depending on the nature of the warranty claim, the manufacturer may provide a replacement part and/or repair the damage at no cost (shipping costs may apply).
Always check with the brand or manufacturer of your trampoline for warranty claims.
This may include providing your name and address, a purchase receipt and the trampoline model/serial number.
