8ft Compact Round Trampoline:
The minimum space required around the trampoline is 14ft x 14ft. We recommend a minimum of 3ft clearance from the edge of the bounce mat outwards. Our Flexinet design (the enclosure that surrounds the trampoline) extends outwards to catch a bouncer that falls out of the standard jump area and guides them back into the safe jumping space. The net is designed to flex to avoid injuries, but it does mean that clear space is required around the trampoline to ensure that there are no hard surfaces in that area. Our instruction on total space required for a trampoline relates to the mat size (8ft) plus the 3ft clearance space.
10ft Medium Round Trampoline:
The space required is for safety, and to protect the trampoline from any walls, structures and fences which may damage the net or mat rods. The minimum space required for the 10ft Medium Round is 16ft x 16ft.
13ft Jumbo Round Trampoline:
The space required is for safety, and to protect the trampoline from any walls, structures and fences which may damage the net or mat rods. The minimum space required for the 13ft Jumbo Round is 19ft x 19ft.
A smaller 8ft round trampoline is ideal for small gardens or families with younger children. Our 8ft trampolines are slightly lower to the ground to make access easier for little people and it has a lower weight threshold (80kg).
We don't have age restrictions on our trampolines (grandparents can jump too!!) . Instead we advise on maximum jumper weight which you will find in the trampoline specifications. We do however we do find that families with children over 12 do tend to consider the larger trampolines in our range as there are less space, height and weight restrictions.
Round trampolines are typically better for solo jumpers or smaller gardens, offering a consistent bounce. Rectangular trampolines often provide more jumping space and are suitable for multiple users.
