What Are Springfree Trampolines?

Before getting into the list, let’s briefly go over what Springfree Trampolines are and how they differ from traditional trampolines.

Springfree Trampolines, as the name suggests, are made without springs—which is what traditional trampolines use for bounciness.

Instead of springs, Springfree Trampolines use flexible composite rods that are built to sustain longer than springs, which tend to stretch, lose their bounce, rust or trap toes and feet.

Because Springfree Trampolines are built from a composite material that is three times stronger than steel and are equipped with safety features, like a flexible net system and an ultraviolet (UV) stabilized mat, they eliminate 90% of product-related injuries.

Here is a summary of the nine trampolines we offer:

The 6 Springfree Trampolines

Before going into the list of Springfree Trampolines, there are a few important notes that apply to all of the trampolines discussed in this article that you need to be aware of:

Note #1: We recommend there be a 3-5 ft clearance around the entire trampoline to ensure it has enough room to safely be used.

Note #2: The max single jumper weight capacity, a crucial number to know when purchasing a trampoline, is based on how heavy you are and how high you jump. It is about ensuring jumpers don’t ‘bottom out’ (touch the ground while jumping).

The Compact Round Trampoline models has a max single jumper weight capacity of 175 pounds. The Medium, Large and Jumbo Trampoline models have a max single jumper weight capacity of 220 pounds.

Note #3: A trampoline’s total structural capacity, another key number to know, is the maximum capacity the trampoline can hold. The Compact Round has a total capacity of 1,300 pounds. The other five models have a total capacity of 1,500 pounds.

Description: The Compact Round Trampoline, which is 8 ft wide and has 54 square feet of jumping space, has a mat size equivalent to a 10 ft spring-based trampoline.

Who Would Be a Fit for a Springfree Compact Round Trampoline?

  • Since the trampoline is round, it would be a solid fit for smaller gardens in an urban area.
  • The Custom Round Trampoline is also an ideal option for beginners.
  • It’s also one of the less expensive Springfree options while still providing plenty of room for jumping.

Who Would Not Be a Fit for a Springfree Compact Round Trampoline?

  • Since the max single jumper weight capacity is 175 pounds, you SHOULD NOTbuy the Compact Round if the jumper weighs above 175 pounds. The trampoline won’t break if you’re over 175 pounds, but you do run the risk of bottoming out (touching the ground) when meeting the maximum height of 7 ft x 7 ft.
  • If you have a big backyard that can accommodate a larger trampoline, buying a bigger trampoline will give you more space to jump and you also decrease the chances of your child physically growing out of the trampoline as they get older.

  • The 10 ft size is a good middle ground against the smallest and largest Round Trampolines offered by Springfree.

Who Would Not Be a Fit for a Springfree Medium Round Trampoline?

  • If you favour the oval or square design of a trampoline, then the Springfree Medium Round Trampoline would not be a good fit.
  • Like all trampoline models, you must have sufficient space to place the trampoline in your backyard. If you can’t fit the Medium Round Trampoline’s 10 ft diameter, then you wouldn’t be a candidate to purchase it.

Cost: £1,295

Who Would Not Be a Fit for a Springfree Medium Oval Trampoline?

  • The Medium Oval Trampoline wouldn’t be a fit for gardens that cannot fit its 8 ft x 11 ft jumping mat dimension and the recommended 3-5ft clearance around the trampoline.
  • Since it is a medium-sized trampoline, families looking for either a smaller or larger oval-sized trampoline for jumping would want to look at another model.
