Baby it’s cold outside! Or at least it’s getting colder outside. And when the temperature drops it becomes more challenging to get the kids outside. But the cold weather doesn’t have to stop them from having some outdoor fun. At Springfree Trampoline, we are dedicated to ensuring that kids have safe outdoor play, all year long!
Built to Last
Springfree Trampolines are constructed out of the highest quality materials and are designed to withstand even the harshest conditions. The SoftEdge™ mat and safety enclosure are UV-resistant to prevent deterioration from the sun and our frame is double powder coated steel for durability and to prevent rusting. The composite fiberglass rods are rust proof, unlike metal coil springs. All the engineering and design that has been put into the development of Springfree means that you can leave it outside and enjoy jumping on it all year long, even in the snow!
Maintaining your Springfree
Your Springfree™ Trampoline is designed using the highest quality materials, resistant to outdoor weather conditions. However, all products will incur general wear and tear, so it's important to inspect your trampoline from time to time. While getting the rest of your backyard ready for winter, give your trampoline a quick check and perform some general maintenance. Preparing your trampoline for winter will ensure your kids can use it even when the snow finally falls.
Once the yard is cleaned up, don't forget to do the same with your Springfree Trampoline. Do a quick wash of the mat with water and a light dish detergent, or a power-washer if you have access to one to wash off all the dust and pollen. Avoid using chemical based soaps on the mat as they might damage the material. If you see any cracks or missing mat rod holders, call our customer care team to find the best solution to replace or fix them.
Winter Maintenance Tips
If you live in a snowy region, we recommend regularly clearing any accumulation of snow off your Springfree Trampoline with a soft bristle brush or broom. Stay clear of sharp bristles or snow shovels as they may damage the mat. With your brush or broom, reach onto the center of the mat and pull the snow toward you and off the trampoline through the zippered door. With regular snow clearing, your Springfree Trampoline can be used year round!
Jump All Year
Our trampolines can withstand even the harshest weather conditions. This means it’s okay to leave your trampoline outside in the sun, rain, hail or snow. The rain doesn’t have to stop your kids from jumping. Just dress them in rain boots and jackets and let them bounce. Or use the rain as an excuse to wash off the trampoline by making soapy foam and using sponges to wash the mat. Turning it into a race will get your kids excited to clean! Even when it’s cold and snowy, there are lots of ways for your family to enjoy your Springfree. Our favourite outdoor trampoline activities include building a snowman, making snow angels or playing snowball dodgeball.
Rain or shine, your kids will love jumping on the Springfree Trampoline all year long! Let us know your favourite trampoline activities and games by sharing on our Facebook page.
